Compared to traditional PVC, it is significantly more resistant and lighter in weight.
It is used on edges where abrasion risks wearing down the rope.
It can be used anywhere on the rope thanks to its Velcro® closure.
The loop at the end allows it to be attached to a fixed point to keep it in place.
